Industry Analysis The key to surviving in this industry is to adapt your product to the consumer. Currently the business growth for bars is only 1 % due to the slow economy. But the sales of upper-class bars have been positive because when people do purchase alcohol they choose to purchase a high quality and price brand of drink. Bars are a popular place to celebrate your birthday and will always be a popular place for social gatherings. The competitor Our competitors our other nightclubs located in the Lincoln Park area. One major competitor is Max bar, they have a very strong marketing technique because they advertise constantly on 103.5 kiss fm by the announce telling them that the radio announcers are there every weekend night. This is a very good marketing technique because people in our target market for bars which are people in college to young adults constantly listen to that station. Max bar also hosts party events and drink specials on certain nights. Another competitor in Lincoln Park is the Apartment. The apartment has a high comfort
