SSP 30256:001, Revision FFebruary 7, 19973 – 113.1.5 ENVIRONMENTAL18.104.22.168 NATURAL ENVIRONMENTSThe EVA hardware covered in this ICD is in compliance with the requirements described in SSP30425 for the natural environment (orbital density, composition, plasma, charged particles andelectromagnetic radiation, meteoroids and space debris, magnetic and gravitational fields, thermal, pressure, and physical constants).22.214.171.124 INDUCED ENVIRONMENTSThe induced environments are electromagnetic, electrostatic, vibration, acoustic, shock, linearand angular acceleration, pressure, low velocity impact, temperature, contamination, plasma, radiation, glow, plume impingement, forces and moments, and humidity. The EVA hardwarecovered in this ICD is in compliance with the requirements described in ICD–2–19001 for theNSTS environment. Design in the areas of plasma, charged particles, and electromagneticradiation is consistent with SSP 30420, Space Station Electromagnetic, Ionizing Radiation, andPlasma Environment Definition and Requirements.
