FINAL PROJECT: ADDENDA 2: (Last one!) The footing for the retaining wall around the stair shall be the same as for the balance of the building in size and material. It comes off of the building footing at the basement landing and then runs underneath the wall on the outside of the stair. It stops and does not turn back into the building. Any perimeter drain lines will need to run around the outside of the retaining wall. Dowels between footings and walls to be #5 bent bars w/ 3” short leg and 9” embed in the footing. Diameters and locations to match wall steel. Overall length determined by wall reinforcing diameter (30 d lap). Remember there is a water stop and keyway. Vertical reinforcing for the masonry shall be #4 at 2’-0” O. C. The stairs will need to be doweled into both the foundation wall and the retaining wall with #4 dowels on 2’-0” centers along the length of the stair run. Minimum clear thickness of concrete below stairs shall be 4”. Masonry anchors shall be by combination truss type reinforcement loop ties (like we have
