She does not report them to the police." In this case study, a sociologist is studying the people of the subculture in an urban slum. She has earned their trust and was told that community members are involved in a car-theft ring. She chooses not to report them, in fear that her faith would be broken. She has chosen the care perspective when she is faced with this moral problem. As a sociologist, she is trying to study and find out how this particular group's social lives, activities, and behaviors affect their lives as a whole. What has turned these members in the community to seek participation with car theft?
