Unformatted text preview: Christina Campsen Midterm MIDTERM For the midterm I chose to critique the “Language for Thinking” series. I was very overwhelmed after going through each of the books, workbooks, teaching guides and pamphlets. I really like this series however; I do not understand how exactly it is incorporated into the mainstreamed classroom. Is this for only ELL students? Or can it be used in the regular classroom as well? One of the aspects that I really liked was how thorough the teacher’s guide was. I think that it is really good for teachers to have a strong base or foundation in their teaching materials. On the side of the teacher, I think that this series is very adequate. It goes into great depth on exactly what to say, how to prepare your students, and how to teach the information provided.
