Heuristics/Political Cues: party identification Cognitive Mobilization: lower costs of gathering information, and higher ability to process that information. Left(Liberal) vs Right(Conservative ): political ideologies that oppose each other on moral, monetary, and other main policies. Ideology: basic set or ideas that determine someones party identification. Values: what people feel or should be the goals of society and the political system. Values System: arrange values by importance to make a general framework. Issue Opinions: the translation of broad value orientations into specific political concerns. Political Sophistication/Level of conceptualization : way of measuring the amount of political knowledge an individual processes. Issue Public: people specialize in some issues and are sophisticated about their issue(s) Materialism/postmaterialism: going from the belief of people wanting unnecessary wants to needs....
