Review of Legislative Bill Tracking Paper 2At the beginning of Social Work 326, we were tasked to find at least 5 bills in Hawaii legislator of our interest and track at least 1 bill by the end of the semester. In the beginning, I had chosen five bills: SB2001, SB677, SB4, HB1652, and HB2250. SB2001 was a bill where it required for people who worked in a religious organization to notify the department of human services or to the police if a child is undergoing child abuse and neglect. SB677 talked about prohibiting collars or leashes that may harm household pets, especially dogs. SB4 wanted to lower the age of voting to 16 by the year 2050. HB1652 required certain employers to give employees 12 months of paid caregiving leave to take care of employees family, friends, or neighbors.
