3 The Global World: Global Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Sustainability Value Creation and Co-Creation; Internet of Things; Catering and Dining. Introduction For the past decade, the world has experienced tremendous unprecedented changes, especially in the business world, due to globalization. Globalization is a concept that has undeniably taken root globally, massively affecting global entrepreneurship, innovation, and sustainability. It can be described as the opening of international borders and allowing cross-border trades across states. Ostensibly, the opening of international borders has led to enhanced interconnectedness and interdependence of countries, regions, governments, and even people themselves. Nonetheless, the borders' opening has led to intense, impromptu competition forcing businesses to more innovative and inventive for sustainability. Additionally, globalization has fostered the spread and rapid distribution of commodities and services, the flow of international capital, and financial management strategies, as well as the vast and widespread adoption of new technology. This enormous and drastic change in the financial world has also led to the development of changes in the favorable and conducive policies for supporting the operation and carrying out of the international obligations across borders.
