The Educator Interview ed Taylor Relle Special Education Teacher Teaches at Ringwood Primary Center Pre-K thru 2 nd grade school Located in Johnsburg, Illinois For the 2018-2019 school year 421 students were enrolled, 18% of students had Individual Education Plans 83.6% of the students were white She is a third-year educator
Do teachers and administrati ve staff members come together to find resolutions to professional problems? Ms. Relle felt that there was collaboration between educators and administrative staff. However, she did feel that there was more cooperative problem solving done within the Special Education department than there was between Special Education and General Education.

Is your school reflective of the community it serves? Ms. Relle explained that her school is in a smaller community. As a result of this she described that it is a close knit community [and] everyone knows everyone.” She reported that the district she works in hosts outreach events to create more involvement between the schools and the community.
