Mary O’Connor Ms. Amanbeyeva English 110 21 November 2007 Angle of Vision Description 1: It’s cloudy and cold outside, but it’s warm and cozy in here. The sound of my boots on the dark hard wood floor is one of my favorites. The click, click, click of high heels has always been one I am drawn to and I am happy I put these shoes on today because I haven’t treaded on hard wood in weeks. I’ve never been to Central Perk before, but I’m glad I’m here. It is the perfect place to sip on a hot tea to ward off the cold outside. Before I can get to my hot tea I put my coat and bag down at one of the few empty tables. As I am walking up to the counter I see a smiling face peer over the bagel display. A more pleasant man has never served such a delicious tea before. The front of the café is floor to ceiling windows. This makes it the perfect spot for people watching, which is one of my favorite hobbies. The café is spacious, it looks much larger from the inside than the outside. I take comfort in the space left between the homey mahogany tables and the comfortable black leather sofas. The lighting is dim and warm and the light fixtures glow an inviting orange. Even though the lighting is low there is enough illumination for homework. Paintings and photos by local artists decorate the wall across from the counter.
