History of the Schloss (sp?) o Began as a castle o Was accused of being a symbol of Hitler o Site of official memory Memory of Schloss vs. Actuality of current building Idea was to put current over current building, to ignite the memory of the Schloss Berlin: full of un-built monuments WINGS OF DESIRE City acts as protagonist Play on exterior and interior space (big on space! Landscape and cities)
