Your decision to attend WGU shows your courage and
determination to realize your potential. What is your
“why” for attending WGU at this time?
My “why” for returning to school for my Masters in
Nursing Leadership and Management is because I
want to continue my education and better myself,
along with hopefully being able to better the field
in which I work in.
The nursing field is strenuous enough, but when
you have management that is only watching out
for the bottom line and not caring about their staff,
to me that is unacceptable. There needs to be a
balance. So, I hope with my perseverance, integrity
and discipline while attaining my degree I will be
able to make some real changes in the hospital
setting where I work. And with those core values in
place can utilize some of the knowledge I will learn
while getting my degree and enact some real
change by becoming a transformational leader and
a tactical manager.
