So, Following potential successors were chosen Robert Glenn, Marianne Klien & Brian Jacobs Shortcomings: Tom Terrell doesn t qualify as CEO, as he has always been under shadow of Edward Bennett and doesn t have his own course of action. More of a Follower than a Leader. Also his age is also approaching the retirement, So quick succession in such a short time span isn t profitable for the company. Brian Jacob: Considering his age 42 years, he is quiet young to be CEO with just 1 year experience in the company. So he can t be promoted as the CEO so soon.Also he wasn t really popular among the board members. Marianne Klein: Since she has been with the company for last 18 years , managing corporate communications and Investor relations but she lacks in devising strategies Robert Glenn: He has extraordinary profile in Marketing, Consumer Products Group, has all the charismatic and strong leadership potential,strong strastegic, in short he is a comlete package also, holds an MBA degree which gives him an edge over Maria...
