This preview shows page 1 - 3 out of 5 pages.

Marlow was walking in the city of London when suddenly, he sees a map of Africa in a store window. Once he saw the map of Africa, he was compelled to go to Africa and explore the unexplored area not plotted on the map. Marlow crosses the Thanes River and head to Brussels. Marlow then contacts his aunt who gives him a company he can contact to assemble a team to help him explore the unexplored land. The company hires Marlow and gives him the position of the captain of the ship.
Marlow and his crew finally dock at an outer port at the edge of the Congo. Marlow first observed that the station was rundown, and all the machines and technology was outdated. The people who worked there also looked beat up and near death. Marlow and his crew begin to head to the central station and this is where he learns about Mr. Kurtz and his ivory exports. The crew arrives at the central station where they meet the station manager and learn about his recent history. The manager tells Marlow and his crew that his ship was attacked and severely damaged.
