(a) (+2.0) Input flow line diameter = 1.00” For the D2/D1 ratio of 0.5 use the invariant part of Figure 10-11 to estimate C=1.025. With this value of C, compute the first estimate of q = 3,698 bbl/day. Now compute the Reynolds Number using the first estimate for q. Nre = 683,035. Using this Reynolds Number the new value for C = 1.025. Since the value for C has not changed the value of flow rate will not change. So, q = 3,698 bbl/day using a 1” input line to a 32/64 choke. (b)
