EXECUTIVE SUMMARY: Boeing Aerospace and Defense Company, one of the top competitors in both the Defense sector and the Aerospace sector is likely to remain there for years to come. In Aerospace mainly because of their new 787 Dreamliner series which offers 3 different airplanes the 787-8, 787-9, and the 787-3 Dreamliner. The 787-8 will hold up to 250 people on rides up to 8,500 miles long. The 787-9 will hold up to 290 people on rides up to 8,800 miles long. The 787-3 will carry up to 330 people on rides up to 3,500 miles . The growth of this area has helped create more revenues which can be filtered back into the R&D programs for Boeing. Boeing is organized in six principal segments: Commercial Airplanes The four segments that comprise the Integrated Defense Systems (IDS) business. Network Systems, Support Systems and Boeing Capital Corporation (BCC). Other segments include the activities of Connexion by Boeing SM, a two-
