___________________________________________________________IAS 2233 Semester 3/2010/2011 Prepared by Miss Rosnita How to use GLUT in a new project of Visual Studio C++ 1) Download the GLUT zip file from 2) Unzip the file to whichever drive you want to use, and put it in a folder. Example “c:\GL” 3) Copy the whole content and paste it to where all the libraries of “include” file are. Usually the folder is here “C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\VC98\Include “ 4) Copy “glut.h” file and paste it to here “C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio\VC98\Include\GL” 5) Run Visual Studio 6.0. Go to File >New. Choose Win32 Console Application and type in the project name 6) Hit Ok. On the next window choose empty project and click on Finish.
