Action Plan2Working in a SchoolAs I am someone currently in school to become a BCBA and work with children,there is a high possibility of me working in or with schools. It is important to understandhow these institutions work and how collaboration looks with them as well. The chancesthat I will be working either directly with teachers or in conjunction with them, is veryhigh when I am in my new position as a BCBA, which is why having an action plan tolay out each step of what that will look like is incredibly important.BeforeBefore entering a school to work there are many things I will need to do in orderto prepare. Depending on what kind of work I am doing with the school this willobviously look different. I could be hired to work for the district, I could be on an IEPteam of a client I’m overseeing, or I could even be a Behavior Instructor. Whatever roleI’ll be in, I will need to prepare myself.Having clear and concise goals will only help me in my way to becoming the bestversion of a BCBA that I can be.
