AMAZON AS AN EMPLOYERINTRODUCTION:Sustainable Human Resource Management (SHRM) is the organization strategy that maintainshuman resources in the long term and well-established social relationships with employees.Sustainable HRM can be achieved by maintaining employee health and safety, retention oftalent, upskilling employees, employee’s trust, and managing the workforce. Further, showcases the outcomes which might differ for similaractions in the different business context.Issue 1: Identification of HR sustainability initiativesEstablishing a strategy of working backwards to detect and confront any difficult postproductionissues.Consider what humanresourcesustainabilityinitiatives(sustainableworkand HRMsystems)havebeen implemented by the case organization.What makes you class them as human resourcesustainability initiatives and not just standard HR initiatives?For this first issue, you need toidentify two initiatives to focus upon. Software developers hadto write an imaginary press release and complete questions for envisioned product beforeprogramming it. This method of working backwards was a boon to developers as it helped them todetect and confront complicated issues before moving on with the product. This initiative not onlyprimarily focuses on developer’s accuracy, but it mainly focuses on its potential client who arevaluable from the very beginning of the process. The initiative also made sure to give the bestsuitable product for the clients by discarding products for which developers couldn’t write anappropriate press release.
