This preview shows page 1 - 2 out of 2 pages.

Willy: Misconception(s): Willy had quite a few misconceptions throughout the story. However, I think his biggest, most problematic misconception is how he truly believes that good looks and cheerful personalities are the keys to success and a happy life. He’s got it all wrong! This leads to extreme problems throughout the story. Another misconception that Willy had was putting forth all of his effort towards work. He could have been putting all of that work towards his family to build relationships or fix internal problems. Perpetuate and Shatter: The shatter was the misconception that led to the death of himself and his dreams. The perpetuate was Willy putting more effort into his work instead of his family. Result: Because of Willy’s misconceptions, he ended up facing a lot of issues throughout the story. The ultimate issue that came with his misconceptions was the result of Willy’s death. He committed suicide to leave his family money from his life insurance. If he wasn’t so focused on the wrong things, the story would’ve never resulted in such a way.
