Attitude refers to a set of emotions, beliefs, and behaviors toward a particularobject, person, thing, or event. Attitudes vary from one to another depending on thesurrounding cultural environments and are often the result of experience or upbringing,and they can have a powerful impact on behavior. The components of attitudes aresometimes referred to as CAB or the ABC's of attitude. The first component is thecognitive component which includes the people's thoughts and beliefs about the subject.The second component is the affective component which comprises the concept of howthe object, individuals, issue, or event makes people feel and the third one is thebehavioral component which studies how attitude influences the behavior (Kendra,C.2020).The understanding of concepts such as values, attitudes, perceptions, andbehaviors of people in the workplace has an outstanding influence on creating a positiveworkplace culture that builds confidence, increases productivity and efficiency, improvesteamwork, enhances employee retention, increases job satisfaction, enhancescollaboration and helps the organization as a whole to achieve its core mission.How are values formed? How do they influence our attitudes toward work andothers?
