These situations often have easy choices to choose from that are tempting but are not necessarily ethical and have bad consequences. The choices can create massive repercussionsand can lead to negative outcomes. Abortion is a major and tense topic within the Christian worldview because it is considered murder. “It has perpetrated the greatest evil of all, by forcing good people to make themselves complicit in grave evil” (Doerflinger, 2016). Ethical DilemmaSusan is faced with the ethical dilemma of abortion. After doctors’ visits and testing done,it shows that her unborn baby may have down syndrome. Healthcare providers suggest that she should abort her pregnancy due to that fact that it may create undue suffering to the child and family once the child is born. The most ethical and moral option to do is to look into secondary options for this situation. There are specialists that can provide her with more information if she does choose to keep her child. “Advancements in early intervention, education, and prenatal surgery can help improve quality of life for families and affected by birth defects” (Gale, 2017).
