Tommy Sigler 9-20-07 Analysis On September 19, 2007 Blackburn came into the Stamford Bridge stadium in London, England to face off against Chelsea. The game was on at 2:00 am so I DVRed it and watched it the next day. This was an important game in the English Premiere League as Blackburn not Chelsea was still undefeated. We are going to look at how Chelsea performed in this game both at a team and an individual level. Starting off in goal was Cech wearing number 1, and then in the back from right to left were Belletti, Alex, Terry and Ashley Cole playing a flat back four. Going up to the midfield Chelsea started Wright-Philips and Joe Cole on the outside with Sidwell and Essien roaming in the middle. Up top were Kalov and Shevchenko to play the forward positions. Although Chelsea said they would put more pressure in the offensive zone this year, they stuck to a 4-4-2 formation in hopes that midfielders and defenders would help join the attack on more of a consistent basis. When we take a look at the key players for the Chelsea side Belletti must be mentioned.
