John Brown is often described as a terrorist. Do you agree with this description? Why or why not? What attributes might make him fit this profile? John Brown to be described as a terrorist that means he used unlawful violence especially against people, in the pursuit of political, religious or criminal aims. I don’t necessarily see him as a terrorist because he was led by good cause to end slavery but since majority groups such as many white and many slaveholders in the north and south didn’t agree with his ideologies especially the abolition of slavery and many even saw him as a threat to their beliefs, at certain time he didn’t have any option except to use violence for his voice to be heard especially he was considered minority who did not support slavery the violence he used made many people think and view him as a terrorist. There are two main events in his life that could be described as terrorism. First the Pottawatomie raid in the Kansas territory and second is his attacks on Harpers
