Discussion Prompt:Classroom tests and school-mandated achievement tests can create test anxiety for students.Chances are that you also experienced test anxiety as a student as well. How did you overcome it?Drawing upon our own experiences, in 150-200 words, how can we reduce the students’ anxiety ornervousness when they are taking tests in our classroom? The word “test” may sound intimidating, and most of the time is going to create anxiety in ourstudents. One of my favorite teachers always let us know a week in advanced the date for our nexttest. Also, every time she was explaining a new topic, she would tell us what to mark as important. Inmy teaching experience, an activity that works very well is to check all the material the class beforethe test, and make a very short summary, letting my students know what I am going to focus on. Theday of the evaluation, before starting, I ask students for any questions they may have. What’s more, Ialways work with the same kind of exercises that then I am going to use to evaluate the learners’assessment, so that when time comes, they are not faced to unknown forms of testing. Finally, whenit comes to reducing the learners’ nervousness, we need to talk to them and let them know that atest is going to help us both, by providing with information about what has been achieved, and whatneeds more work.Question1CorrectMark 1.00 out of 1.00Flag questionWhich of these topics would be the most suitable basis for a 25-item discretelanguage point quiz?Select one:A.
