Houston Scarborough 5/12/09 Prof . Gray Leading By Example Throughout history, religion has been broken and branched into hundreds of interpretations . Within Christianity for example, all Christians read a Bible, however; there are different beliefs within the confines of Christianity . Point being, all Christians interpret and create their own meanings found in Biblical text to form some type of application to their life . In Samuel L. Jackson’s case Ezekiel 25:17 justified his causes and beliefs for what he committed . Interpretations of the Bible have come and gone . In the Episcopal Church there is constant debate whether or not gay marriage is legal within the confines of the Bible . The deciding factor lies upon an interpretation of text . Applications of Biblical stories and parables in personal life can occur on a day to day basis . An example of this are the days of temptation created by the devil to test Jesus, this story is applicable daily . Biblical interpretation is a personal quest, finding meaningful stories to remember and proceed to
