Taliyah Mathis Oct 16. 2020 Markeria, Isabel, Lisa Lab 6 Purpose/Procedure: The purpose of this experiment was to demonstrate a quality of motion which was linear momentum. The first thing done was an experiment for elastic collisions which included arranging carts on a track having their magnetic sides facing each other. Next was an experiment for inelastic collisions in which the target cart was flipped so its magnetic side with Velcro faces the projectile Velcro side and installed a flag. Lastly was an experiment for explosions which the projectile cart is flipped so that its non-velcro nonmagnetic side faces the target cart.
