00816151 00816151 Jack Conway ENL-102(52) 24 April 2007 The Battle of Book VS Movie Books and movies based on the book are two forms of media. They have many similar and different attributes. Books and movies both provide there audiences with entertainment and have many other similar aspects. However they both also have many differences. In today’s culture, many films are being produced based on literature. Some of the biggest box office hits where movies based on novels such as Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire , The Godfather , and Star Wars. Novels and the films based on them have many similarities and differences. Novels are similar to films, in that both forms of media take the viewer or reader to a different place. Whether it’s a person reading the book or watching the movie one way or the other the person is being entertained. Another way both forms are similar is that both have a storyline, characters, and a setting. Yet with all these similarities there are still many differences. Films differ from movies in that it’s a quicker to be entertained by a movie. For
