You will be working in pairs on this task.
Take out a piece of paper and something to write with.
Write both of your names (CLEARLY) on the paper!
• Discuss and write down your responses to the following
questions. Your response should be clear and well
(1) Compare/contrast the following: relative cell addresses,
absolute cell addresses, mixed cell addresses and named cells.
In your discussion, be sure to address what are they and how they
benefit Excel users (i.e. why use them?).
(2) Cell D7 contains the entry =SUM($A10, C$13, $E$4, G2).
What will the cell addresses of this function look like if it copied
cell D7 to F21. Be sure to explain the reasoning behind your
answer. Be ready to share your answers with the rest of the class!
