PALAD, JR., in their official and/orprivate capacities, respondents.FACTS:Facts:The subject of this controversy is a parcel of land which was formed as a result ofsawdust dumped into the dried-up Balacanas Creek and along the banks of the Cagayanriver. Sometime in 1979, private respondents Jose Salasalan and Leo Rabaya leased thesubject lots on which their houses stood from one Antonio Nazareno. In 1982, privaterespondents allegedly stopped paying rentals which resulted to the filing of a case forejectment with the Municipal Trial Court by the petitioners. A decision was renderedagainst private respondents, which decision was affirmed by the Regional Trial Court ofMisamis Oriental, Branch 20.
