November 3, 2011 What John Hug h was going to do was irrationalize this whole speech…standing up is cool, hot and cold is cool…but if you aren’t getting info you can waterboard them. Goldsmith says I may be holding governments to account and human rights ….not stupid enough to think we can do this unilaterally and not pay the price. Fear after 9/11 to build a defense system that would stop this from happening…we haven’t had an attack since 9/11 of that size recognition that terrorist offensive was unsustainable. Book to read -> bloodlands Goldsmith would say you don’t want to unessarily tie your hands…interregation doesn’t have to go the torture route. If you react to the terrorist attack adopt to terrorist techniques you end up in the gutter with them; you change American soc iety…and it doesn’t work too well aside from being a moral issue November 8 , 2011 Turn in paper by Dec 10 th you get extra credit on paper

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
