INTRODUCTION GLOBALISATION Towards the end of the 20 th century, the level of technology began to multiply globally. According to Koh (2016), these advances affect different economic and social sectors, such as transport, culture, and business operations. Today, businesses and organizations can interact and interdependent on a global scale. Through these improvements, cultures, economies, populations, and business operations can go beyond a predefined country or nation's borders. The change that brings international interactions is what we call globalisation. Therefore, we can say that globalisation is how companies, people, businesses, and governments interact at the international level (Davis, 2018). Another definition of globalisation is the increase in the interdependence between people, companies, and governments on a global scale. Critical factors that enable globalisation are good communication network, advanced transport systems, and internet technology. Transport networks such as electric rails, modern ships, and airplanes allow people to move from one country to another. This movement promotes globalisation as people from different regions meet, thus, sharing culture and ideas. Through these networks, businesses can acquire raw materials from any state and distribute products internationally. Globalisation plays an essential role in the economy by creating a broader market for products and expert skills (Mahtar and Suki, 2020). Internet technology also promotes globalisation by enabling international interactions through online platforms. Nowadays, businessmen and businesswomen operate worldwide without having to move around or leave their geopolitical zone. The introduction of computers and computer technology is critical when it comes to online business. Initially, one had to move from point to point for a successful transaction to take place. We also have communication media such as smartphones that make it possible for people to communicate efficiently regardless of their physical location. As a result, these improvements facilitate globalisation. This paper 2
provides a report overview of the relationship between globalisation and enterprises for fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG). According to the author, there is a mutual interdependence between globalisation and enterprises for fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).
