Rodriguez Rochelle Rodriguez Professor Sherry Rosenthal English 102, Sec 1808 18 October 2020 Movie review of the film Titanic (1997) The movie Titanic is a 1997 film that narrates true events that took place in the ‘Unsinkable ‘ship known as the Titanic. Written and directed by James Cameron, the movie narrates a tragic love story, between Rose and Jack. The lead roles are played by Leonardo DiCarpio (Jack). And Kate Winslet (Rose). Titanic is a good movie to watch not only because of its characters and stunning visuals, but also because it tells a compelling story that keeps the audience glued to the screen until the end. To begin with, the characters are effectively chosen. Rose is a lovely woman engaged to, Cal, a rich man on the Titanic. Her mother has established the engagement, emphasizing that the marriage will save their family from the financial challenges they are experiencing. Rose, however, she is not happy with the forced engagement and considers committing suicide by throwing herself overboard. However, she is saved by a lovely witty young man, by the name Jack, a passenger from the third-class unit, who had won his ticket by playing a poker game.
