Physical facility- An example of this is the tables, chairs, and wall hangings in a restaurant. Location- An example of this is a restaurant being located in a busy shopping district where people will often become hungry after shopping. Ambient conditions- An example of this is soft, romantic music and lighting in a restaurant. Interpersonal conditions- An example of this is being greeted by a host/hostess upon arrival into the restaurant. 2. Identify the response moderators of individuals to the servicescape. Cite examples you have seen of each type of response. Cognitive response- Upon entering a restaurant, if the floors appear dirty and the server looks unkept, you may think that the kitchen may also be dirty and the food is not very good. Affective response- Some restaurants, such as Dave and Busters have very high arousal levels and make people feel happy and excited, while other more “romantic” restaurants have lower arousal...
