Making Sense of Tissue TypesConcept Map AssignmentThe idea is to create a concept map to help us organize what we will be learning about each of the fourtissue types: epithelial, connective, muscular, nervous.We will be adding to the concept map as we learnabout each new tissue type.So far we have learned about epithelial and connective tissue.To start ourconcept map, we need to have a central idea.Write “Types of Tissue” in a bubble in the middle of a pieceof paper.We will branch off of this.NOTE: Each term that you add should be connected by a descriptivephrase, such as “composed of” or “located on”.In your concept map include the following about eachtissue type:Where it is found on/in the body - “located on”.Its distinguishing features (ex. epithelial tissue is avascular).Its functions.Its main components -“composed of” (ex. epithelialtissue is mainly cellular).Each of the different types-including a basic description.I would recommend doing a rough draft version
