Measures include ways for the new department to conduct recruitment procedures, performance appraisals, and the activities to create active and harmonious working atmosphere in the resort.We were hired to stay in the resort for 3 weeks, during which we observed the operation of the resort thoroughly. We also interviewed local staffs, expatriates and guests to gain a deeper understanding of the current situation of the resort. Due to the wave of guests and time constraints, we couldn’t go deep into each interview and even experienced rush endings. Nevertheless, a new Human Resources Department is still a must to initiate and coordinate staffs to create a better working environment.This report contains the conclusions, recommendations along with finding and analysis.2.ConclusionsThrough our finding and analysis, the resort has yet to:2.1 motivate local staffs to bring about satisfactory working performances and to reduce guests’ complaints2.2 act as an intermediate between local staffs and expatriates and provide activities to change their negative attitudes towards each other3.Recommendations
