UBUS 223 Fall 2007 Linear Regression Modeling Project I. GENERAL GUIDELINES You are to design your own multiple regression modeling project. You may choose any topic; general suggestions include the following subjects: personal interest, related to a job, related to course work. As you consider your topic, remember that your project must include the following: 1. A measurable (quantifiable), non-binomial dependent variable. 2. At least two measurable (quantifiable) non-binomial independent variables. 3. An ability to gather the actual data for n = 30. 4. An ability to interpret the data once the results have been computed. II. PROPOSAL You need to submit a proposal to me by October 23, 2007. The proposal must : 1. Be typed. 2. Include your dependant variable, and two or more independent variables. You need to briefly define each variable and explain how each variable will be measured. 3. A brief explanation of why you believe that your independent variables will help to predict, explain, or otherwise influence your dependent variable. 4.
