THE MONEY ECONOMY: Due to various difficulties of barter, such as lack of double coincidence of wants, problem in storing certain commodities, lack of divisibility etc., gave way to the introduction of money. However, there was no fundamental change that took place in this stage, except that pricing became the main mechanism of marketing.
