1. External Proposals A. Point out a problem and offer a solution while
requesting that a specific plan be put in place.
These proposals often request funding to
implement the plan and may not be solicited.
2. Internal Proposals B. Ask for funding to begin or to continue
academic, scientific, or corporate research. A
specific hypothesis is set forth and a research
plan and methodology is also included. These
are sometimes related to the scientific method or
academic research associated with dissertations.
