Unformatted text preview: Gayle Ruddick English 103 Section 004 November 13, 2007 Banning the VW Polo Advertisement In a nation as diverse as ours, you can only expect to see cultural clashes. We all consider very different things the norm and oftentimes we honestly trust that everyone else holds our exact beliefs. With a simple glance at our surroundings we can see instantly that this is not the case. Our diversity and ignorance to the diversity of others causes many problems. In fact, the United States has an extensive history of cultural issues ranging from slavery to modern racism. If there is one thing we all do have in common, it is that we are working together against these concerns of prejudice. Any public demonstration that operates against this universal goal, including the bigoted VW Polo commercial featuring a suicide bomber, should be banned....
