3Problem Statement: In this lab I will be able to test the design of my program through the use of a PIC18 simulator.
4Analysis:To complete this lab I will have to write instructions to light up alternate LEDs at PORTC. to effectively complete this task I will need to ensure I:Initialize PORTC as an output port (Logic 0 to TRISC sets up PORTC as an output port).Turn on the alternate LED on the 8xLED board of the simulator (byte 55H turns on alternate LEDs).Assemble and RUN the program in PIC18 Simulator.
5Procedure: First thing I need to do is successfully download and install the PIC 18 software. I had some issues getting the disk and download working until I ran the program as administrator.Next, choose the appropriate microcontroller. I chose the PICF1220 first, and it did not have PORTC, so instead I will be using the PIC18F452.
