Section Response of the radio and, thus, the television (A Primer on Communication Studies, 2012). There was a need for encryption and decryption from the telegraph being invented using just dashes and dots. This was just the first in many ways showcasing how the telegraph has changed how we do business today. Today we have passwords needed for everything, which is the same thing and encoding and decoding a telegraphic message. Furthermore, the telegraph evolved into a wireless telegraph which used electrometric waves to send codes into space that another wireless telegraph would then pick up and transmit. This wireless telegraph is what has led to the creation of the radio. Today's companies use the radio to publicize their work and use radio jingles of a catchy tune to strike a memory for potential customers. Through the use of radio, one uses their skills of interpersonal communication to strike a chord with their listeners.
