2 Living on One Dollar Living on One Dollar (2013) was a fascinating documentary of two young men who met in college and two filmmakers Chris Temple, Zach Ingrasci, Sean Leonard, and Ryan Christoffersen , all decided they wanted experience living eight weeks on fifty six dollars each in Guatemala. A fifty-three-minute film enlightening people like me, on a different level of poverty, one I have never experienced not even while in a pandemic. In addition to that, one may also learn a thing or two about the topic that the director intended to pass. This essay analyses their journey, taking an observation of many of the movie aspects. Ryan Christoffersen, Zach Ingrassia, Chris Temple, and Sean Leonard who come from metropolitan cities, a fast pace life of being able to catch a quick taxi or subway, microwave their food, and getting money from an ATM when they desired. Yet they wanted to go experience poverty in real life after reading about it in college. So, they go to a small village in Guatemala called Pena Blanco, where three hundred people resided, many of them had informal jobs and did not know when or how much they would get paid. These informal w orkers themselves would have to put the numbers zero to nine in a hat and pull out a number daily to know their income for that day. Therefore, Chris, Zach, Sean, and Ryan implemented this routine of drawing a number out of a hat and having the uncertainty of what amount they could spend daily. On two
