Business Ethical Issue HEADLINE: UNITED AIRLINES PASSENGER DRAGGED OFF OVERBOOKED FLIGHT TO MAKE ROOM FOR EMPLOYEES On April 9, 2017, O'Hare Airport Security Officers forcibly removed passenger David Da o, a doctor, from United Express Flight 3411, after Dao refused to leave the aircraft as airline staff insisted. The airline was trying to make room for four of its employees on the Sunday evening flight to Louisville, Kentucky. At beginning, United offered $US400 and then $US800 in vouchers and a hotel stay for volunteers to give up their seats. When no-one volunteered, a United manager came on the plane and announced that 4 passengers would be chosen at random for involuntary removal from the flight. Dr. Dao was the only one of them who resisted to leave. He told the manager he was a doctor who needed to see patients in the morning. The airport officers
