2 Organizing Zendesk is a company that develops a customer support platform that brings consumers and companies closer together by offering services that make it easier to communicate on their own terms with consumers and users. In addition, Zendesk concentrates not only on improving its brand via consumer satisfaction but also on employee satisfaction. Zendesk is a business that considers diversity as a benefit and strives to bind all the services from that idea together in every way. An individual must first learn the organizational culture of the enterprise to comprehend a business. An assessment, though separately broken down, will enable an individual to draw conclusions about the culture and competitive advantage Zendesk may have over all the others. Zendesk displays an unique culture and structure in the intention of recruiting compatible people to maintain a consistency within the community already developed. Organizational Culture Organizational culture includes an organization’s expectations, experiences, philosophy, as well as the values that guide member behavior, and is expressed in member self-image, inner workings, interactions with the outside world, and future expectations. According to Lumen Learning, Organizational Culture (n.d.) “Organizational culture is a term that describes the shared values and goals of an organization”. Zendesk has an outstanding culture as they recruit people with fascinating experiences who are ambitious and inspire each other to develop and innovate (Zendesk, 2012). Zendesk embraces the seven-dimension Organizational Culture Profile, this ensures that their business reflects the nature of an organization's culture- creativity and risk-taking and the extent to which workers are motivated to be creative and risk-taking, as well as pay careful attention to detail. Zendesk strives to make customer support and communication channels efficient and scalable and is dedicated to addressing the needs of every company and employee, which proves Zendesk is based on a detail-oriented culture.
