I will announce room assignments as soon as they are available and will update sign-ups on SPARK • Sign up for discussions on SPARK • First online quiz must be done between 9 am Sunday and 9 am Monday (on Chapter 2). 2 Do Special Survey by midnight Tuesday, Feb 12! • Allow sufficient time to complete the full questionnaire in one sitting -- approximately and hour • You must submit your answers at the bottom of each page of the questionnaire. You may skip any questions you choose not to answer (or all of the questions). • If you press the withdraw button on a page you will have to go back and redo the questionnaire. 3 ! Survey: What you are about to read, including chapter outlines and section heads. ! Question: Ask questions. Make notes. ! Read: Look for the answer to your questions by reading a manageable amount at a time. ! Rehearse: Recall what you’ve read in your own words. Test yourself with quizzes. ! Review: What you learn. Read over notes and quickly review the whole chapter. Tips for Studying Psychology Psychology can teach you how to ask and answer important questions. S urvey, Q uestion, R ead, R ehearse and R eview (SQ3R) 4 ! Distribute your time. ! Learn to think critically. ! Listen actively in class. ! Overlearn. ! Be a smart test-taker.
