DAY 7 – FACE YOUR FEARS Few questions have intrigued and stunned mankind like the chicken to the egg conundrum. Even Aristotle, the philosopher credited as the first to study formal logic, wondered which came first. He said, "Chickens come from eggs, and eggs come from chickens. How can one come before the other?" Well, as with every question in life, worldview dictates your answer. Evolutionists assert that birds evolved from reptiles over millions of years, so the reptiles eventually laid the egg that hatched as a chicken. As far as they're concerned, the egg came first. Creationists on the other hand dismiss that argument completely and are in favor of the Chicken taking the first place position. Some questions don't ever seem to get resolved, and this, my furry friends, is one of those questions. Now, with that out of the way, let's address the other chicken-related question on everybody's mind. Why did the chicken cross the road? The answer, of course, is "To get to the other side." So what is it that compels people to be fearful, to think and act like part of the herd, to live an entire lifetime with very little to show for? Well, for the majority of us, it's the desire for safety, refuge, security. In short, it's the inclination to play it safe and to remain in the comfort zone. But the life you want, the truly and magical life that you want to experience will only happen once you face your fears and actively work to get outside your comfort zone. In short, life begins at the end of your comfort zone. It always has and it always will. The fact is fear is unworthy of your companionship. It's an unwanted visitor, one who's overstayed his welcome and your ultimate goal is to face it, to conquer it, and to use it as the trigger for unleashing your greatness. The human being who does not wish
