MATH201 MODULE 2 SLP
I calculated how many times I used the restroom over a 10 day period. The trips documented are as follows: 8, 6, 8, 6, 8, 4, 9, 7, 5, 5. To calculate the mean I added up all of the numbers and then divided by the quantity of data points added up (Khan, 2014) Mean:20.1 8+6+8+6+8+4+9+7+5+5=66/6.5 Next I found the median. To measure the median I put these numbers from smallest to largest and found the middle numbers. Since I have an even amount of numbers, I had to find the difference between data point 5 and 6. To find that I took the middle numbers, added them together and divided by 2 (Khan, 2014). Median:6.5 4 5 5 6 6 7 8 8 8 9 6+7=13/2= 6.5 After calculating the median I found the mode. The mode is the easiest to find because it doesn’t require you to put numbers from smallest to lowest. I just looked for the number that repeated the most (Khan, 2014). Mode: 8 8 , 6, 8 , 6, 8 , 4, 9, 7, 5, 5 I didn’t expect to use the restroom that many times a day. On a typical day, I am so busy at work that I do not use the restroom once. I think I was going more often because I was
