Outline for play Characters: 1. Hamlet 2. Briony 3. Pontius Pilate 4. Yahweh Setting: An elevated room, held up by chains, with three jail cells. Room represents a Purgatory. There are two visible staircases, one leading upwards and one leading downwards to symbolize the prisoners’ fates. Plot: Scene 1: Hamlet falls asleep in cell. His dream reveals his guilt over his mistreatment of Opelia. Yaweh acts out all characters of his dream. Hamlet then wakes up and conversates with Yaweh. Mention something about a shadow reflection from another cell. Scene 2: Takes place back on earth. Briony is dying and reading from her novel (continuation of her book). She’s hooked up to a machine that eventually will show she has died. Scene 3: Back at Purgatory. Scene starts with Pontius. Briony enters cell next to Pontius and begins to question where she is. (note: Briony no longer suffers from Alzheimer’s disease) Pontius then falls asleep. He dreams about the moment in which he sends Yeshua to death. Yaweh again acts out all characters in dream. Pontius lets Yeshua
