Kevin Schoenfeld July 19, 2020 MGT-410 Teresa Burke Rokeach Values Survey Reflection When I first looked at this assignment it seemed it like it would have been a no brainer as to what I found important in my leadership style. However, this assignment proved to be more difficult than I had originally expected. There were multiple instances where I had to go back and keep re-arranging the order and this really has me re-evaluating some of things I valued in life. This reflection will do two things; identify my top three instrumental and my top three terminal values. Terminal Values My first terminal value wasn’t too much of a surprise to me, as it was family security. My family is and always will be my number one priority. Their safety, happiness, and well-being will always be put first. I know that there are instances where I appear to be a helicopter parent, but I do so for good reasons. My family will always know that I’m there to protect them and keep them secure no matter the situation. Second on my core values ranking was true friendship. My wife is my closest companion and
